I just installed a 4.7 in my son's Dakota I bought from Mark. It fired right up, great oil pressure and temp... great advice and followup from Mark Squires during this project... will do business again with this man!!

I bought a Hemi for my 2004 Dodge 1500 from Mark. Installed it myself. The one thing I liked about getting the engine from Mark is the warranty. Everywhere else requires you to replace your intake or they won’t honor the warranty. It also depends on the damage to the engine if you should change it. No issues with the engine after the install. The only problem is a small oil leak from the rear seal. I called Mark and he told me the seals do not come with the spring in them like the old days and told me to put Bar’s Rear Main Seal Repair in it. He said everyone that called about the leak has not called back. I installed the gaskets front and rear main seal so he was helpful in helping me solve my problem where I may not have to pull the engine back out to fix the leak. Mark also delivered and saved me the delivery charge. He was taking a cruise so he came to the house and I dropped him off at the cruise terminal. He is Old school, honest and a really nice guy. You can’t get a Jasper engine this cheap.

Engine specialist rebuilt my 2011 Ram Hemi after a lifter collapsed. Back on the road for 4 months and runs perfect.
So...we had what I would call “The Triton Choker” 5.4 series and yes it choked and lost power no matter the pedal pressure applied or octane booster added. So while I took the chance to perform what I believed was a simple tune up, it became a complete and utter failure to be completely honest. I found out the ignition coils were half broken not making a good connection and then got another slam after breaking 3socket wrenches -5sockets -and a couple of nice extensions. I learned that #2 #4 Plugs were toasted and broken off, so I figured I must visit an Engine Repair Shop!
I made one Google search and made one call, seriously just One Call. The owner answered all of my questions and gave me his experienced thoughts and repair points and said we are going to do this and you will be happy. After a seemingly fast haggle in pricing we came to an agreement.
So I trusted this Shop with my truck, My Time, and my Wallet. They went to working immediately that same day which was a Saturday, and then had it completely done and ready by the next afternoon, Sunday, thanks to him and his crew for staying the long haul for us.
This place is honest, fair and willing to give you a way to pay in some scenarios and very efficient with there work. They don’t bs you and they keep it straight for you with no loose ends. What they say you’re getting is just that and then some!! Call Internal Engines Specialists, then you can thank yourself later.
Thanks you for all the Hard Work!!! - Florida Total Pavement Inc.

After spinning a bearing in my V 10 Excursion I realized I needed a total rebuild. I found Mark squires on Facebook And gave him a call he said bring it in. He looked at it gave me a price and said it would be ready in seven days. four days later he calls me and said the truck was ready to be picked up. After picking it up I had an oil pressure issue. I called Mark and he said to bring it back by. After finding a faulty oil pump Mark replaced the pump. He had the truck back to me in two days. Mark is no nonsense and straight forward. If you’re looking for a quality stock rebuild, he’s your man. Mark gave me an extremely fair price and completed the job sooner than was stated and totally backed his work. Engine runs strong and I’m very satisfied. I highly recommend Him. Henry H

They built an awesome hemi for my son's Chrysler 300srt8. The price was great for a real quality build. I am very impressed, and will be absolutely referring them to anyone who wants a great engine! Thank you, Mark!!!

Remanufactured Engines FAQ

What is the difference between a used, rebuilt and remanufactured engine?

The Average Rebuilt Used Engines

Used components are pulled directly from a vehicle – typically a junkyard vehicle. There are no provisions for disassembly, internal cleaning, or inspection with a used component. Used or junkyard components may have high mileage and a poor maintenance history – a failure waiting to happen.

To rebuild is to recondition by cleaning, inspecting and replacing severely worn or broken parts. Serviceable parts are reused within the manufacturer’s acceptable wear limits. The quality of rebuilt components varies widely and many come with only a short term warranty.

Our Remanufactured Engines

At Internal Engine Specialists, American made "Remanufactured" engines are our specialty. To remanufacture is to make as closely to new as possible. All core material – head and block castings, crankshaft, camshaft and rods - are carefully inspected, checked against original equipment measured specifications for correct dimensional tolerances and precisely machined.

Replacement parts are always new or requalified to meet exacting standards and tolerances. Testing is performed to manufacturer measured specifications and original production standards.

Some people think they can buy remanufactured engines cheaper online. Most often this will get you problems right out of the box! Here at Internal Engine Specialists we take nothing for granted. No new part is installed without first being thoroughly checked for defects. This is why our methods are better than the average crate engine program. We aren't a cookie cutter, mass assembly line type of operation. At Internal Engine Specialists, LLC every clearance and every part is thoroughly checked, and double checked, by our engine specialist prior to final assembly. That is why many auto mechanics in Lakeland and around central Florida purchase their "Remanufactured Engines" from us.
